Local Net

The Alexander County Amateur Radio Association conducts an ARES/RACES weekly training and information net on the 147.195+ (PL 94.8) W4ERT Repeater each Sunday evening at 9:00 PM. In the event of the failure of the repeater the net will be conducted on the 441.625+ (PL 123.0) UHF repeater. Simplex is utilized in the event that both repeaters are down the simplex frequency is 146.58 MHz. This frequency is utilized for a simplex net each 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month at 12:00 Noon. All amateur radio operators are encouraged to check in to these nets.

Tarheel Emergency Net (ARES HF Net)

The Tarheel Emergency Net meets daily at 7:30 PM local time on a frequency of 3923 KHz. The Tarheel Net is the ARES HF net for North Carolina.
