The Top Income Standards Act (WNT) entered into force in 2013. The purpose of the WNT is to combat excessive remuneration and severance payments at institutions in the (semi) public sector. On the basis of the WNT, the incomes and severance payments of top officials at (semi) public institutions are standardized and made public.
