By Rick Archer (August 22, 2022, 6:23 p.m. EDT) – An affiliate of Endo International on Monday asked a New York bankruptcy judge to stop another pharmaceutical company from voiding asset purchase agreements and of pre-Chapter 11 drug licenses, denying breaches of contracts.
In a heavily redacted complaint, Endo Ventures Ltd. called Nevakar Inc.’s attempt to void a 2018 licensing agreement a “transparent strategic move” to try to avoid the impact of Endo’s Chapter 11 filing on contracts and an act that threatens to undermine the sale of assets and the restructuring plan proposed by Endo.
