WASHINGTON, September 7, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — IMPEL, SX Works Global Publisher Services (SX Works) and the Canadian Music Reproduction Rights Agency (CMRRA) have announced a strategic partnership that expands North American and international cross-licensing opportunities and back-office administration, ensuring that music publishers are compensated accurately and fairly.

The partnership allows independent music publishers who are members of IMPEL to license their digital rights directly in Canada with CMRRA and in United States through SXWorks.

Further opportunities are available to IMPEL members through SX Works – the new integrated administration and licensing division of SoundExchange’s global publishing services and parent company CMRRA. The alliance provides IMPEL members with access to best-in-class data and administrative services for the United States.
