Today Governor John Bel Edwards announced that he has signed the following bills into law beginning with the 2022 legislative session.
ACT 18—HB 6 Establishes an employee insurance fund for the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office.
ACT 19—HB 15 Provisions relating to the transfer of certain funds to the 42nd judicial district.
ACT 20—HB 45 Recreates the Department of State and statutory entities part of the department by law.
ACT 21—HB 46 Recreates the Department of State Civil Service and the statutory entities forming part of the department by law.
ACT 22—HB 58 Irrevocable Trust Provisions for Prohibited Persons.
ACT 23—HB 60 Provides for the suppression of an existing judicial section of the Youth Court of the parish of Orléans.
